Escrita por el pianista, cantante y vibrafonista Bobby Scott junto con Rick Marlow, la canción A Taste Of Honey , escrita para la película del mismo título dirigida en 1961 por Tony Richardson, se convirtió en un clásico inmediato, algo que incluía recién a llegados, como el primer álbum de The Beatles o voces consagradas como la de Sarah Vaughan; convertida en bailable, como hizo en 1966 Herb Alpert y sus Tijuana Brass o en una maravillosa balada como le escuchamos al gran Chet Baker acompañado al piano por el propio Bobby Scott y la guitarra de Kenny Burrell.
