Ella Fitzgerald: The Frim Fram Sauce 1952

 En 1946. Ella Fitzgerald grabó junto a Louis Armstrong el tema The Prim Pram Sauce. La canción, compuesta por Redd Evans y Joe Ricardel, había sido un éxito el año anterior, 1945, a cargo de Nat King Cole y su grupo. En el verano de 1952, Ella la cantó en la sala Birdland de Nueva York, con Hank Jones al piano, Nelson Boyd al bajo y Roy Haynes en la batería... y sin Louis Armstrong. El genio de la cantante no tuvo problemas para lograr una perfecta imitación de la parte del  también genial Louis Armstrong. Cuando se tiene una voz prodigiosa como la de Fitzgerald, nada es imposible.
