Annie Ross: Farmer's Market 1952

Incluido en esta selección de cuatro álbumes clásicos, Farmer's Market, es un un tema que apareció en  single y EP, junto a otros 3 temas, contando con Teacho Whitshire al piano y dando nombre al grupo, Ram Ramirez al órgano, Percy Heath al bajo y Art Blakey en la batería. Se grabó en Nueva York el 9 de octubre de 1952. La más hip de todas las cantantes de Jazz, realiza un ejercicio de vocalese, poner palabras a las notas. La composición original era del trompetista Art Farmer y Annie Ross le puso voz al solo del saxofonista Wardell Gray, dando lugar a esta personal forma del jazz. Disfrútalo!
